Sarah Burge, President - Sarah graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor in Architecture as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design. While completing her undergraduate degrees, Sarah became experienced in learning new software and using new pieces of technology in order to quickly turn project ideas into real outputs, such as drawings made using Computer Aided Design software (CAD) and models made with 3D printing tools. Since graduating, Sarah has worked as a writing consultant, a bank teller and a contract designer. Now back at U of H, Sarah is pursuing an MBA at the Bauer College of Business and previously served as the V.P. of Technology for MBAWI. As a second year MBA student, Sarah is now serving as the President.Elizabeth Evetts, Executive Vice President - Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bioenvironmental Science with a minor in Environmental Soil Science from Texas A&M University. She was honored as an Undergraduate Research Scholar, and her research was published in 2008. Elizabeth spent her career prior to her MBA with Deloitte as a Senior Associate in the Financial Advisory Services group, where she was able to experience Environmental Consulting, Business Consulting, Audit Support and Project Management roles. Elizabeth is currently a graduate student at the University of Houston, CT Bauer College of Business pursuing her Masters in Business Administration. Elizabeth served as the V.P. of Mentorship last year and is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of MBAWI.Sein Myint, Executive VP of Finance - Sein is currently a part-time MBA student at Bauer College of Business and expects to complete the program in May 2014. In addition, Sein graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2011 with a Bachelor in Economics and a Minor in Business. At the end of 2011, he obtained his Series 7 & 66 licenses and started working in the financial industry for a stock brokerage firm as an investment adviser representative. Rachel Flye, Executive VP of Professional Development - Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Management and Organization from Central Washington University, Washington. Rachel has spent her career prior to her MBA working as an Account Manager where she was able to work cross functionally between departments and communicate and build professional relationships with some of the largest technology distributors and resellers in the world. Rachel is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Houston with a focus in Supply Chain Management.Emily Hannigan, Executive VP of Mentorship - Emily holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio. After she received her undergraduate degree, she began working for United Services Automobile Association as a Claims Adjuster. During her time at USAA, Emily handled Non-Injury, 1st Party, and 3rd Part Automobile Claims. She is currently pursuing her MBA with a focus in Human Resources at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. Vira Pogribna, VP of Communications - Vira grew up on the Black Sea coast in Odessa, Ukraine. As a finalist of the Future Leaders Exchange with the Freedom Support Act Program and sponsored by the U.S. government, she spent an academic year attending high school in Boerne, Texas. Vira returned to Texas in 2004 to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston, with concentrations in Marketing and Management. Her work experience includes four years as a sales manager with a four-diamond resort (Moody Garden Hotel, Spa & Convention Center) on the coast of Texas. In 2012, Vira transitioned to work as a coordinator with a dance competition production company working in 14 states. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running, and collecting Russian poetry.
